Thanks to Village Voice for providing us with this great list of FREE concerts in NYC. Everybody loves free and every body loves music, a match made in heaven. There is definitely something for everyone on this list, ranging from hip hop to dance and jazz to rock. The venues also range from one of the many parks, school yards, museums, and anywhere else the creative sources decide to throw a party. The one thing I will warn you about is the amount of attendees. As with any free event you should plan to arrive early and check the web for any last minute changes, NYC is full of them.
