Median price in May was $440,000. This is up 33.3% from $330,000 in May of 2013. This is the lowest median price has been since December, 2013. 3-month median price of $527,500 in May was down moderately from $745,000 in April but up considerably from $400,000 in May of 2013.

Inventory of 73 in May was up 7.4% from 68 in April and up 1.4% from 72 in May of 2013. New listings of 25 in May were down considerably from 35 in April but up slightly from 21 in May of 2013. Inventory of 72 in May was up 33.3% from 54 in April but down 19.1% from 89 in May of 2013. New listings of 28 in May were up somewhat from 23 in April and up substantially from 18 in May of 2013. The Museum Mile Festival NYC 2014



Fifth Ave, also known as museum mile, hosts this highly anticipated event.  On June 10th the public will have FREE access to nine museums from 82nd St to 10th St 6-9pm, rain or shine. The festivities begin on the steps of the Museum of the City of New York at 103rd St 5:45 PM

The Best Summer Hiking Trails In Westchester County NY



Hiking season is in full swing, try to enjoy it before it gets too hot!  Here are some of the best hiking trails in Westchester County.

1) Scenic Hudson Park - Irvington NY - A short stroll but well worth it for the views of the palisades.

2) Rockwood State Park - Sleepy Hollow NY, Located across from the Rockefeller Preserve this trail offers a nice 2-3 mile walk.

3) Sylvan Glen Preserve - Yorktown, NY - This trail features remnants of an abandoned granite quarry.  

4) Merestead - MT Kisco, NY - Another short hike but lots of cool things to check out such as, the former farm fields & woodlands, mansion, and pet cemetary.

5) Camp Smith Trail - Peekskill, NY - This trail is a bit more challenging then the others and featutres a 6.2 mile walk to Anthony's Nose and back.  Another great feature is the constant views of the Hudson river, that makes me happy!  Only experienced hikers should attempt this hike.

6) Mianus River Gorge Preserve - Bedford, NY - The trail runs along the Mianus River.

7) Croton Gorge Park - Croton NY - One of my personal favorite hikes in Westchester.  You can't beat the views of the amazing water falls and Croton Dam.
